Searching for a title to fit your scrapbook page can be a fruitless and frustrating effort. You waste time, money and energy but still come up empty handed. The Pazzles Inspiration can help you create the perfect title every time. No need to purchase cartridges either. The Inspiration Studio Software recognizes all True Type fonts. You can also alter the font by adding to it or taking away elements from the font. Watch this video to see how the Pazzles Inspiration Cutting System can Inspire you to greater creativity!
This is THE simplest flower I know how to make. But it can be a star or a flower. Easy to make tons, easy to pick down and return to. You need to know: 1) Slip knot to start. 2) Chain stitch. 3) Slip stitch. 4) Single crochet stitch. See the Flowers #1 video for more info how to learn these stitches. In this video, I crochet 2 of the 5 petals. I make a mistake and fix it (it’s easy!). Then I sew it up and “finish” the star. These would look really cute on a baby scrapbook page or a card. Or use as a flower layer, attached together by brad.
A year ago I got “the bug” to learn how to make crochet flowers. I really wanted to use them on my paper crafting projects! Looking back over my 1st year now I’m doing an introduction video for paper crafters who want to make crochet flowers just for paper crafts. And don’t already know how to crochet! lol My suggestions: Youtube – Theresa (Art of Crochet) and Mikeysmail – he just put up a brand new line of beginner videos! Library – children’s section, search for crochet. Easy projects, lots of pictures! lol Next trip to Wal Mart buy: Size C (or D) Crochet hook – .30 Size 3 white crochet thread (not embroidery!) – Needle point needles – .50 Use a bag you own to be your “embroidery” bag. The library also has flower crochet books – get on the waiting list! lol In the adult section.
Hope you’re all enjoying your Labor Day weekend! I know I am, which is why I’m a little late on my scrapbooking share this week… I haven’t had much time to be crafty lately, but have a bunch of ideas flying through my mind that I want to implement! In this week’s vid, I share a new Halloween paper pad I ordered online at Joann.com by DCWV, some old scrapbooks I made of my 2 eldest sons and inspiration that “hit me” when I was cleaning the garage…. Enjoy!
Elizabeth Kartchner shows you the line of scrapbooking products she co-designed with American Crafts – Dear Lizzy. Liz also demonstrates how to make fun rolled flower embellishments using adhesive backed fabric paper from the line.
Before going on vacation, I went to Michael’s and Wal-Mart and bought some things that I REALLLLY wanted, so yeah. There was also this little store in Florida called A Scrap In Time that I noticed on my way to Disney World (we drove the whole way over there, which was about 20 hours) with my family, but they were closed by the time I saw it, so on my way back I stopped there and purchased about worth of paper crafting/scrapbook supplies. Thanks for watching everyone!
