Julie Piesciuk was invited to give a program at a meeting of the Eli Skinner Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), of which she is also a member. The members, most of whom had never stamped, made over 50 cards to send to a local veterans hospital. Julie begins the show by describing how the DAR promotes education, historical preservation, and patriotism.. She talks briefly about her professional career and her involvement with other non-profit organizations. The show ends with footage of the ladies making the cards. I hope you enjoy this very special edition of Paper Crafting Trends.
Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Julie Piesciuk, inspires you to create as she shares paper crafting tips featuring the latest trends. Today she is making a board game for a fun alternative to the traditional Christmas grab bag. All project instructions and patterns are available at www.papercraftingtrends.com.
Fans of Paper Crafting Trends may notice a slight change in format. Julie Piesciuk, a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and Executive Producer of Paper Crafting Trends, has taken the show to another level. In addition to stamping, Julie has many other hobbies and interests… one of which is television production. As always, each episode will include original project ideas and demonstrations, but in some shows you’ll also be treated to videos of everyday people creating the projects and putting the completed projects to practical use. You’ll see more special effects, titling, music, and scripting all in an effort to hone production skills, share other talents and hobbies, and create videos that would appeal to a wider audience. This episode was filmed at the Illinois Railway Museum during their 2010 Happy Holiday Railway event. We will be making a 6″ x 6″ scrapbook page and two party favors. Visit www.papercraftingtrends.com for supply lists and patterns. Thank you for watching!
