if you make a tshirt like that, can you wash it?
Yep, you sure can!
this is an awesome tut lol simple too hahah good job haha gotta try this out my self lol
where can u get a X-acto knife?
You can find them at any craft or hobby store, hardware stores and sometimes the supermarket.
What an incredible tutorial!!! The only thing I can’t figure out is how the plastic from the freezer paper doesn’t leave a mark on the shirt. Guess I’ll figure it out, because I’m doing this PRONTO!!!
I can’t tell you why it doesn’t, but I’ve never had a problem and I’ve made oodles of stuff with this technique!
well, thanks again !!! Can’t wait to try this out. You make it look easy.
this isn’t working for me. the screen is black and it says 0:00/0:00 in the corner.
Hum, well, give it another try. It came on right away for me. I hope it works for you this time!
Which Side DO You Put The Iron On?
The Plastic Side, Or The Paper Side?
You put the plastic side to the fabric and iron the paper side.
what kind of paint is best to use so that it wont come out in the wash?
Any fabric paint will work, but I especially like Lumiere by Jacquard.
OMG that looked awesome I am going to try this
Thanks, I hope you do try it, it’s lots of fun!
im so going to do this!!!!!!
I hope you do, it’s easy, cheap and pretty!

Is the stencil reusable?
If you’re really careful, you can usually get 2 or 3 uses from one stencil. If you want to do that, I’d recommend skipping the glitter.
Mhm, also – I couldn’t not find any freezer paper, so I bought bristol board
For letters like “D” which have a white space in the middle, how would I secure it in place? Glue, tape?
Thanks – and that’s an awesome shirt
If you use the freezer paper, you can just iron the piece you cut out right into the center. That’s my preferred method, but you can also make bridges from the main part of the letter, leaving a tiny sliver of freezer paper so the small piece stays attached to the rest of the stencil.
Great idea, and I love the song!
