wow… after that question I have to ask, do you even know what a bolt is?
They are not “working.” They work in that he can shoot VERY VERY LIGHT loads to toss a pencil. It is not the same as a real firearm. They are made of steel for a reason. The paper version would destroy itself if he managed to fire a real round. The round wouldn’t achieve any kind of velocity either as the barrel is made of paper. This guy is obviously pretty smart, so he wouldn’t try. It’s a hobby (a very impressive one at that), but he’s not making functional guns. That’s actually much easier.
where did you learn to make these
its paper-mache so it wont just destroy itself, and it could probably get some decent velocity because of the rifling

Yeah, you’ve got a valid point, but he’s improved over the months. Perhaps his shotgun can’t take the pressure of a real shotgun shell (buckshot or slug, doesn’t matter), but he can make shells on his own.
