I also like that you didn't go crazy embelishing (even though you included embelly's for them to do it) because It wasn't so much to take in, so I think that's why it is my favorite. I normally just color my big rings with alcohol inks, but I'm not usually trying for such a deep stauration like you mentioned. Have you thought about trying spray paint, though? Krylon has a "Brushed Metallic" line out right now that had several of the colors you mentioned. I haven't tried it myself, but it is rated for metal, per their website.
