My Craft Room – Finally!

I finally got around to making a video of my craft room. Sorry for the darkness of parts of it. I really need better lighting in the room.

*nods* Let me tell you, I put a bunch of these suckers together by hand before I slapped my forehead and went and got my power screwdriver. LOL! SOOOO much easier! I was so silly.

Honestly? The room is only about 10 x 10. And it’s my bedroom (hence the dresser under the cubes). I sleep in the living room. THAT’S how addicted to scrapping, I am. LOL! (seriously, I do sleep in the living room, but for other reasons.)

Great room! I have an old (Nat. Reg of Historic Places) house…so finding storage solutions, dealing with settled floors, etc is always an issue. Thanks for the great ideas!

I love the Sizzix towers, genius, I’m going to have to swipe that idea. The cubies on the desk too, brilliant. I’ve got stuff shoved in those photo boxes that Michaels sells for cheap. Not very convenient to drag out and open up to dig thru. : P
Thanks! I had them on hand from when I used to do craft shows so I thought I’d better use them.
I got them at Hobby Lobby I think…maybe MIchael’s. Maybe both! LOL! If you look in my video you’ll see a lot of those photo boxes. I used to use them, but like you said, they aren’t very convenient. Now I just use them to store my projects-in-progress.
Luv the cubbies against the wall on your desk. Nice idea, seems to give more desk room to work with. Very pretty glass (?) jars you said you used when you were making candles. Where did you get those? They’re really, really pretty. Nice job with your room.
Thanks! I got the glass jars online from Fairway Glass Company. The only problem is you have to buy them by the case.
BUT if you have a lot of embellishments, you might just need that many! LOL!
