why do you have to use white paint?
The white paint is a primer. If you just used the purple let’s say the purple will not look like the purple that you have in the bottle, unless you use several coats of paint. The white also makes the toilet paper tube match the toilet paper so your octopus will look even in color
If you see the pic of my octopus you can’t even tell where the toilet paper stuffing begins

a few weeks ago i went to my neices preschool and made tp roll butterflies and bees with the kids in her class and i wanted to tell you they had so much fun also that it was an easy project that was not to hard for them me and my neice make alot of your projects with tp rolls thank you for making easy fun to do projects for kids:) i will post some pictures so you can see how much fun they had

i can use any color instead of purple right??? becuz my room is blue so i want to make it blue and place it in my room
blue, pink, red, gray and purple are good color choices for this project
