Who said “hi” at 5:44?
it’s an easter egg
Heh, nice. I want to say that this is a really good tutorial. You go through it at a good pace and there’s nice “easter eggs” if the volume is high enough. When will you show how to make the other components of the kit? BTW, this is the CWF Game Cast.
Combat Storm Rocks! Some table top wars are pretty expensive hobbies. This employs those great plastic army men we all grew up with. And NOW… scenery too. Cool.
I might get the manual soon, but I don’t know how to get the building copies… I don’t them on the website… Also, can we use WWII plastic army men? Cause in the pictures there were some.
So… can we use WWII army men, or is it focused on a certain era? I’m thinking of altering the rules for my own game… like part yours, part Ben Mora’s game, cause he uses more vehicles, and you don’t have to paint… So please respond if you can. I’m really new in wargaming, and this one seems good. So, thanks.
Hi Nitocolus,
Combat Storm takes place in a modern setting, but it’s quite simple to adapt to a WWII setting with some home-brew rules (like Ben Mora has cleverly done). We actually started creating a WWII version of Combat Storm a few months ago, but it hasn’t yet been completed.
Thank you for the reply. I have recieved my Combat Storm manual, and look forward to playing it.
How can I get a copy of the rules if I live in the UK?
Just order from the website. We ship internationally.
Does printing on the non glossy side work better?
do you all offer a french or german building style buildings for WW2
you all have great quality
I have tried printing it on glossy and non-glossy but I find the colors usually turn out a bit more vibrant when I print on the glossy side. Either way works well, really.
Our artists are working on producing some additional paper-craft buildings to include building styles from a wider range of countries, yes.
its like oragami except glueing and cutting
cool i wish some were free thow
There’s a few buildings you can download for free in the downloads section of Combat Storm and also some free sandbags. Should be a good start to an epic battlefield
